[oXygen-user] No Easy Way to Set @colsep and @rowsep on Table in Author Mode

I'm trying to track down a rendering bug in complex tables and thus doing more table editing than I normally do. Just realized I can set @colsep and @rowsep on <table> to turn all the rules on in the table but there doesn't appear to be an easy way to do this from the table editor in Author mode. I would expect check boxes on the initial table creation dialog for "all column rules" and "all row rules" or something similar. Have I missed something in the UI or is there a considered reason for not providing this option?
