Dear Brian, Unfortunately in Oxygen 11.2 there is no setting to disable tooltips in the Elements view. There is such an option to disable them in the content completion window in the Oxygen Preferences->"Editor / Content Completion / Annotations" page. I filed an improvement request to use this setting to also control the tooltips in the Elements view. But, in Oxygen 12 (which will be released in a couple of weeks) the tooltip on the Elements view should not be that annoying anymore as we've done some work on it. You can test some Oxygen 12 beta kits from here: http://www.oxygenxml.com/pipermail/oxygen-user/2010-August/003271.html Regards, Radu Radu Coravu <oXygen/> XML Editor, Schema Editor and XSLT Editor/Debugger http://www.oxygenxml.com On 9/6/2010 1:17 AM, Brian Rice wrote:
I'm using oXygen 11.2 on XP sp 3. The schema I'm working with has some rather extensive annotations which, when displayed as mouse-over help in the elements pane, obscure my view of the other elements and get in the way.
I've searched through the the Preferences menus looking for a way to turn this off, if possible. Or at least lengthen the time before it appears. I haven't found it if it's there nor could I find this in the archives.
Is there some way to at best turn off this feature or lengthen the time delay before it shows up?
Thanks,
