Hello, When you change the keyboard layout you have to restart Oxygen because the change of the layout does not change the input method in the Java virtual machine. That means the Greek layout is ignored if you set it while Oxygen is running. I set a Norwegian layout and I started Oxygen. I tried some Alt Right character combinations in 5 different applications and in Oxygen. The same characters are inserted in all applications. I do not have a key AltGr but I set the option "Press Right Alt key to choose 3rd level" in Layout Options -> Third level choosers (in Keyboard preferences). For example what is inserted on your Ubuntu machine in the Oxygen editor and in other editor application when you use the Norwegian layout and you press Right Alt + a, Right Alt + e, Right Alt + y? Basically Alt Right (AltGr on my keyboard) works in all other editors except for Oxygen. In addition the dead key accents I have on my keyboard (where I don't need to use the Alt Right) also don't work in oxygen but in everything else. And if I change keyboard to Greek keyboard - and this is especially important for my Oxygen use - this keyboard change is ignored in Oxygen but works again in everything else.
I have just downloaded the oxygen 10.2 for Linux and will send a message if this makes any difference.

the top-right key on my keyboard is supposed to give accent-grave when i click this key first and then a character key for which there is an accent-grave combination. If I hold down the AltGr-key, click on this before mentioned key and then a character key for which *this* is meaningful, I get an acute accented character. But in Oxygen neither of these combinations work.
On this same keyboard I am supposed to hold down AltGr and type "2" to get the "@". this also doesn't work in Oxygen, I just get the "2". It seems as if all the combination keys are non-functioning when I am typing in text in Oxygen. Are there any settings where I can turn on ordinary keyboard behaviour?
