Tony, Further to what I stated in my previous email, I would like to add that the settings for changing the color of the content completion descriptive tool-tips are on the same preferences Preferences > Editor page. They are called "Documentation window background" and "Documentation window foreground". As I specified, you should either change only the settings you are interested in, or restore all defaults and if this is not a solution, just provide us the appropriate screenshot. oXygen XML offers the possibility to customize color settings at editor level. Therefore, you could go in oXygen menu to Options > Preferences > Editor and try to either customize the "Completion proposal background" and "Completion proposal foreground" color settings or even restore the entire defaults ("Restore Defaults" button in the bottom right side).

The content completion help shows the icons for the options, and the currently selected option is visible as darkish text on a white background, but the other options and the second pop-up box with additional information about the current option all show as white-on-white.
How can the normal colours be restored?
