never noticed that I wasn’t able to find that kind of strings in Author-Mode. Just tested this and it worked very well for me(oXygen 20).

In Text-Mode of course this can’t works, because of standard restrictions, as you know.

I would use keydef/keyref mechanism or would use a specialized element inherited from ph, so no one has to write this kind of stuff anymore.
