The proper declaration of the DocBook 5 schema is inserted automatically by oXygen in any new document based on one of the DocBook 5 templates available in the "New from Templates" dialog (the "New from Templates" toolbar button): <?oxygen RNGSchema="http://www.oasis-open.org/docbook/xml/5.0b5/rng/docbook.rng" type="xml"?> The same DocBook stylesheets are able to transform correctly both DocBook 4 and DocBook 5 documents.
