Hi, I've just tested this with the v14 beta in Ubuntu 10.04 (this is what I had at my disposal), but could not reproduce the problem. I'll have to install Ubuntu 12 in a VM and try that as well. Do you have multiple "oxygen" or "xml-model" processing instructions in the same XML file? What's the error message or how did you arrive at the conclusion that the schema is not found/used? If you look in the Properties view (Window > Show View > Properties), does the correct schema URL appear for "Content Completion"? Thank you, SyncRO!
I just installed XML Editor 14.0, build 2012051515 ("Linux", not "All" flavor) onto an Ubuntu 12.04 (amd64) system, and opened an existing file that had been edited in previous versions of oXygen. I quickly noticed that <?oxygen RNGSchema="../schema/mme.rnc" type="compact"?> doesn't find a schema, whereas both <?oxygen SCHSchema="../schema/mme.isosch"?> and <?xml-model href="../schema/mme.rnc" type="application/relax-ng-compact-syntax"?> do. (The sibling schema/ directory has both 'mme.rnc' and 'mme.isosch'; I'm not sure they are *valid* schemas, but they are there.)
I have not checked to see if the same thing happens on my Mac OS X platformn yet.
We are happy to announce that version 14 of oXygen XML Editor is almost ready for release. Because the new version introduces many new features, we decided to release this beta version and thus have the chance to receive your early feedback before the final release. ...
