Hi Rob, First of all, Oxygen uses the DITA Map currently selected in the DITA Maps Manager as the context for resolving all key references. We have plans to allow users to designate a certain Map as the context map in a future version. Please see some answers below:
1) - Try to open the topic file with "Right-click > Open > Open file at caret" - The dialog pops up that allows you to create the file referenced, using the "key" as the name for the file to be created.
This does not work indeed, Open file at caret currently works on resources explicitly referenced. But I'll consider this an improvement request. What you can do is to switch to the Author page and click the keyref, this should work if the key is correctly resolved in the DITA Map.
2) - click on a topicref - double-click on "keyref" in the "Attribute View" - There is no drop-down list of keys to choose from
This should work as long as the main DITA Map is the current selected map in the DITA Maps Manager, see the first explanation. Regards, Radu Radu Coravu <oXygen/> XML Editor, Schema Editor and XSLT Editor/Debugger http://www.oxygenxml.com On 8/8/2012 9:56 PM, Echlin, Robert wrote:
Hi guys, Using oXygen 13.2, Standalone. Build: 2012052412

Do these use-cases work in oXygen 14?
We are using a script to create all our keyrefs from the ID's in the topic files, and from the names of the graphics files, so the key map is automatically generated.
Thanks, Rob
