
That’s what I thought. Luckily, in the BITS customization at hand, there’s a mandatory /*/@dtd-version attribute, based on whose value we can make the association. Btw, Wendell’s Framework works very well even for the customized schema. An xml-model-based association is desirable nonetheless, so I’m turning my question into a feature request. filename, doctype declaration and on the root element name, namespace or root element attributes, so you cannot use the xml-model PI information.
