This worked.  Thank you.

Hi,

As it turns out, it's not a bug, but there are two actions "Find" and "Find/Replace" that duplicate the Ctrl+F shortcut and cause confusion. I actually fell for it myself and tested with "Find" which belongs to an Oxygen tool. "Find/Replace" is the action that you should change the shortcut for.

So, first you must clear or change the Alt+Shift+F shortcut that is already assigned to "Quick Find", menu > Options > Menu Shortcut Keys, search for "Alt+Shift+F", Edit the shortcut for "Quick Find" and change or "Clear" it.

Then you can assign "Alt+Shift+F" to "Find/Replace". menu > Options > Menu Shortcut Keys, search for "Ctrl+F". Make sure you change the one for "Find/Replace", not "Find".

Regards,
Adrian

Hello,

On what platform (Windows, Mac, Linux) are you running Oxygen?

Unfortunately it seems there is a bug and the assigned shortcut for "Find" is ignored (even though it can be configured in Options > Menu Shortcut Keys), it only responds to Ctrl+F.

I have logged this to our issue tracking tool. This will be analyzed and resolved in a future version of Oxygen.
You will be notified when this is resolved.

Adrian
