Hi Bernhard, Bob, I don't see anything in Apache FOP supporting this feature. Indeed Adobe Pro seems to support setting such properties to a PDF, you can google for "open pdf zoom". Also the commercial RenderX XEP PDF processor (which can be be used with DocBook content) seems to support this by setting some custom processing instructions: http://www.renderx.com/reference.html#Initial_Zoom Regards, Radu Radu Coravu <oXygen/> XML Editor http://www.oxygenxml.com On 2/14/2019 9:39 AM, Bernhard Kleine wrote:
Hi Radu,
obviously I explained it wrongly: What I want: Opening the PDF in Acrobat Reader, I always arrange the display to 50 % and "double page". I wonder whether that can be predefined using a to me unknown switch in oxygen (or xslt).

Hi Bernhard,
I do not quite understand, do you want to create some kind of a PDF preview with half of the PDF contents missing? Once you have the full PDF available there are various PDF split utilities which may be useful (maybe you can google for "PDF split" or "pdf remove pages").

Hi,
I want the pdf display of my book from the beginning to 50 % and two pages. Is it possible to set these parameters in the xml/xslt? I do not find any indication for this in docbook xls or in the internet.
docbook xml 5.1 -> pdf via oxygens inbuilt transforming plus customized xls file.
Any hints are welcome.
Thanks
Bernhard
