If you only need to *see* it, that would open up other
alternatives. E.g. opening the file in a browser.
Thanks Lars, and everyone else who's answered.  And you are correct: we
only need to view the file.  So it's really just a matter of loading and
formatting.

Using a browser or other tool looks like the way forward.
