Yes, the Code Templates shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+Space) is not available while editing in the oXygen's Author mode.
In the Author mode, there is only a single shortcut to access both the code templates and content completion suggestions.
Therefore, using the Content Completion Assistant by pressing "Enter" or using the "Ctrl+Space" shortcut in Author mode, the Content Completion list presents the user both CC suggestions and the Code Templates available for the specific document type currently being edited.
