Ah yes, I've had that happen to me, too. In some cases (I have been working with a 5MB file), it can take several minutes to start... A progress bar or something to show that Oxygen is still alive would be nice and useful; it took me ages to realise that it was not hanging but starting up... The other problem that showed up working with files this big was Oxygen running out of memory and/or losing the synchronisation between the file on disk and what it had in memory. But that happens, in general, only after running for several days without interruption :) cheers eve
