Hello Frank, On your old computer in your user home folder there should be a folder named "com.oxygenxml". So if you go to Windows Explorer and type "%APPDATA%\com.oxygenxml", this should be the folder which contains all the Oxygen global settings, including layout file. You should probably remove from it the "lucene" subfolder because it contains indexing caches which can be quite large. Other than that, if you move this folder to the corresponding user home location on your new computer, you should have all global settings intact. If you saved your custom framework folders to a separate folder (and not inside the Oxygen installation folder which would be not recommended), that separate frameworks folder would need to be copied as well to the new machine. Hi support, hi group,
I have to migrate all my programs to a new computer with Windows 11. What is the quickest way to set up Oxygen in the same way as it was on my old computer? I know I can import/export some features such as window layouts and themes and I know where I have saved my custom frameworks to. But what about document type associations, profiling/condition settings for author mode and all the other preferences? Is there a directory tree where all this is stored and which I could just copy over the existing files?
