Greetings,

I have just noticed that I have two versions of oXygen currently installed (under Windows), namely 26.1 and 27.1.

Although the one which is pinned in my main menue is currently  version 26.1

When I display the list of all installed applications, I see

What is the safe path for simplifying this situation? I don't want to risk losing any important configuration file, because of unforeseen consequence?

We announce the release of a new maintenance build (2025041508) for oXygen 27.1 (XML Editor, XML Developer, XML Author, JSON Editor, PDF Chemistry, WebHelp, Publishing Engine).
The build number can be verified in the Help -> About dialog box from the application (next to the version number).

I would like to point out this important update for our Windows users:

Windows/OpenJDK JRE: Downgraded the bundled OpenJDK/Temurin JRE to version 17.0.11 due to stability issues with version 17.0.14.
