Hi, Unfortunately the XPath executed from the XPath toobar or the XPath Builder view cannot be interrupted. We have this improvement request listed on our issue tracking tool and we will implement it in a future version of Oxygen. An alternative would be to execute the XPath as an XQuery transformation(which can be stopped). Create a new XQuery file, paste the XPath expression there and configure a transformation scenario(Document -> Transformation -> Configure Transformation Scenario). However, from my tests it seems that the XQuery transformation is only stopped after the XPath evaluation is finished. It saves maybe 1 second for a 10 second XPath evaluation(not sure if this scales linearly). Dear all,
I'm probably misusing the XPath side window by doing XPath search using fn:collection()
So sometime, I doing search over thousands of files and I would be happy to be able to interrupt the XPath execution
