In the good old days, running OS-9 on a Tandy Color Computer, I had to hard-wire bank switching on a 64K memory chip for a 6009 processor that could only address 32K. Things were so simple then. Although I am highly skilled with C++, I am totally at sea with java and know absolutely nothing at all about Linux - my bad.
