Hello,

Thank you for reporting this issue. I've added an issue to fix it for a next Git Client release. It will work if you present the Git Staging view which will trigger the initialization. Until we release a fix, perhaps you can use a ${pd} variables instead. If not, users should be instructed to display the Git Staging view when this error appears.

Best regards,
Alex

Hi there,

[Oxy 24.1 on Win11, DITA project]

our learned words are set to a custom folder in a git project:

In the options, the path is set to:

Inside the XPR, it looks OK:

<entry>

                        <String>spell.check.learned.words.custom.folder</String>

                        <String>${git(working_copy_path)}\DITA\learnedWords</String>

                    </entry>

But when I try to add/learn a new word during spellcheck in Oxy, I get this:

Any clue how to get this working again? – before Git, in SVN, we only used ${pd}, and this worked.

Greetings,

Franz-Josef
