Nope. Opening a RelaxNG (XML syntax) file in oXygen 8.0 (build 2006111719) on Mac OS X 10.4.8 (PPC architecture) causes the diagram to open as expected.
Okay, I'm running it as an Eclipse 3.2 plugin. Forgot to mention that. -Eric
