Hello,
We are proud to announce the release of version 1.2 for
the S1000D Framework Add-on for Oxygen XML Editor, Author,
Developer, and the Eclipse distribution.
This new release brings two new publishing scenarios for your
S1000D Data Modules, validation against BREX modules, and a set of
refinements that make everyday authoring smoother. Here's what's
new:
PDF Preview for a Data Module
The new "S1000D Data Module PDF" scenario renders a single
Data Module as a print-ready PDF, giving you a faithful preview of
how that module will look on the page. Check formatting, spacing,
and layout before you commit. It is a quick way to see your
structured content the way a reader would.
HTML Preview for a Data Module
The "S1000D Data Module HTML" scenario renders a Data
Module as HTML and opens it in your default browser. You get a
fast, faithful preview for reviewing content and catching layout
issues early as you iterate.
A More Polished Authoring Experience
This release also includes a round of improvements to the Author
page, such as better S1000D rendering, with elements now
being displayed more accurately, and more consistent styling,
with the full-width style being applied correctly alongside other
styles.
S1000D Framework Add-on 1.2 is available for Oxygen XML
Editor, Oxygen XML Author, Oxygen XML Developer, and the Eclipse
distribution. You can update it from Help > Install new
add-ons or install it from the S1000D Framework Add-on page:
https://www.oxygenxml.com/addons/oxygenxml.s1000d.framework.html
We hope that you will enjoy using the most recent release of the
add-on as much as we enjoyed developing it. As always, your
feedback is welcome!
Best regards,
Alin
