My company has decided to deploy the help on the local computer, not on a server.

Fortunately, none of your points seems to affect us:

• I do not create an Index
• Google Search? Users can do that on their own in their web browser.
• A feedback mechanism would be good a good idea, but not an option for my company at the moment.

Hello Frank,

Usually WebHelp Responsive outputs are made to be deployed on an HTTP Server (such as Apache HTTP Server).
If you keep the files locally you will not have access to the following features:

• The Kuromoji analyzer used to index Japanese content
• The Google Search Integration will not work
• Oxygen Feedback search and comment section cannot be used
