Hi,
Our Git Client Add-on uses JGit (a Java-written Git library), which
in turn uses Apache MINA SSHD for supporting the SSH protocols. In
other words, part of the add-on's functionality depends on things
that are not in our hands and we also don't fully know how they work
:).
Hopefully, activating full logging for the Git Client Add-on may
show us something useful... To do that, you need to follow these
steps:
1. Create a logback.xml file in the lib folder of
the Oxygen installation folder, with the following content:

2. Restart Oxygen.
3. Perhaps try pulling from a remote where you are authenticated via
SSH.
4. Close Oxygen to avoid logging flooding :).
5. Delete the logback.xml file because it might cause performance
issues if you leave it in the lib folder.
The resulting log files are located in the Desktop\oxygenLog
folder. You can take a look at that logs and, if you also want us to
analyze it, send it to support@oxygenxml.com.
By the way, if you don't see anything interesting in the Git
Client's logs, perhaps you can add <logger
name="org.apache.sshd.client" level="debug"/> in the logback
configuration file, but this might be very verbose...
In regards to core.sshcommand, it seems it wouldn't work with
JGit...
