Hello Yves, Indeed when creating new DITA topics Oxygen prefers the ".dita" extension which is the preferred extension according to the DITA naming conventions:
http://docs.oasis-open.org/dita/v1.1/OS/archspec/fileext.html
In order to change this you have to open the folder:
OXYGEN_INSTALL_DIR\frameworks\dita\templates\topic
and rename the template files to have the ".xml" extension instead of ".dita". Regards, Radu Radu Coravu <oXygen/> XML Editor, Schema Editor and XSLT Editor/Debugger http://www.oxygenxml.com On 8/3/2012 12:57 PM, Yves Barbion wrote:
Hi group
I see that oXygen 14 gives my DITA topics the .dita file name extension when I save a new topic, unless I explicitely add .xml to my file name.
Is there a way to specify the "default" file name extension for DITA topics in the Preferences?
Thanks.
