In addition to asking questions of my collaborator, I like using it in conjunction with oXygen's track changes to indicate why I made certain changes. This isn't a must have, just a minor enhancement to some already nice functionality.
One more related thing I just noticed: Content marked as deleted still appears in the outline view with no strike-through. Ideally, in the outline view it would have strike-through as well.
