Hi, I'm using Oxygen in conjunction with eXist, and have just tried to get the debug and profiler functions working. Unfortunately I failed.
Is there some configuration option I need to do; I have done the necessary to get queries working, but I assume that there is something else. Or is it something missing in eXist?
Cheers, Kev O'Neill

Dear Kev, The debugging and profiling support in oXygen 8.1 works only for the following configurations: XSLT 1.0 - Saxon 6.5 or Xalan XSLT 2.0 - Saxon 8B or Saxon SA XQuery - Saxon 8 In order to have debugging and profiling support for eXist the engine must provide some support for that. There was some interest at some moment from one of the eXist developers but things did not progress since then. Speaking for the eXist developers: we would still be very interested to implement a debugging interface and I guess it could be done with not too much effort (maybe a week work). Unfortunately, we are all working on other features right now, but if someone wants to volunteer, just ask me and I'm sure I can give you a few hints where to start. Otherwise, the feature remains on my personal wish list. Wolfgang
