Hi, It seems there is a defined, finite set of editor variables. I didn't find any way to create my own variables. Did I miss something? My problem is: I have some stylesheets I am working on in a separate directory than the oXygen project directory. And that directory can change from time to time. Instead of changing each scenario each time that directory changes, I would like to define an editor variable, my-dir, and use it in the scenarios: "${my-dir}/sub/sheet.xsl" Regards, -- Florent Georges http://www.fgeorges.org/

Responding to my own question, just with another idea (but I don't think this is possible neither in oXygen). Another way would be to be able to use the "path" as structured in the project. I like the fact that an oXygen project abstracts files from their physical location on the disk. But the structure in the project itself (the hierarchy of directories and files in the project view) cannot be used in scenarios AFAIK. That would be interesting though, to make scenarios independent on real locations of files. Maybe it is possible yet, and I just didn't find it? Regards, -- Florent Georges http://www.fgeorges.org/

Hello, No, it is not possible but we will consider it a feature request. Thank you for your request, Sorin Florent Georges wrote:

Great. Thank you! -- Florent Georges http://www.fgeorges.org/

Hello, We will allow adding user defined variables in a future version. We could not find use cases for other editor variables but I think you have one use case. Regards, Sorin Florent Georges wrote:

Great! BTW, from experience on real-life projects with other IDEs that have this feature yet, this kind of feature is mostly used for collaborative purpose (I put this directory here, but she does there.) This is quite cheap but useful yet. Thanks for your attention, as usual :-) -- Florent Georges http://www.fgeorges.org/
