Insert Image as Variable in Eclipse environment

Hi All, I'm using Oxygen XML (version in the Ixiasoft Eclipse CCMS environment. I'd like to insert an image as variable in a topic, but I can't get it to work. I know it's possible, because I used to do this in the Stand-alone Oxygen XML editor. I created a variables map and added this for the image variable: <keydef format="png" href="nlr1598608071706.image" keys="cap" scope="local"/> The output shows the href as text though: [cid:image003.jpg@01D67D55.704FD2E0] Am I doing something wrong, or is it not possible within the Eclipse environment? Version: Oxygen.3a (4.7.3a) Build id: M20180330-0640 PS. The image is .PNG, not .SVG. This was just a test-topic I had lying around. Thanks in advance for you input. Hi Judith, Thank you for contacting us. If you switch the opened DITA topic to the Text editing mode how does that image reference look like? Does it look like:
<image keyref="..."/> ?
The Oxygen Eclipse plugin should have for each opened DITA topic an "Insert image" toolbar action allowing you to insert either direct images or indirect (keyref) images. If the toolbar action is not there for you, Ixiasoft may have changed this, they have access to our APIs and they can remove Oxygen actions which they consider that do not work well with their CMS. I think I saw a demonstration some years ago in which somebody from Ixiasoft used a special Ixiasoft side view in Eclipse to locate a key and then they right clicked and had options there to insert an image with a keyref, I think they also made this work with drag and drop, dropping the key definition in Oxygen's editing area. If you will still have problems with this, maybe you should ask the Ixiasoft support about the recommended way to insert images in a DITA topic with the Oxygen integration.
