Hi Shannon, Oxygen is a Java application and several years ago we studied the possibility to embed a fully-operational browser inside it. We found no good solution then but we'll try again, maybe new technologies (WebKit of course) have emerged. Could you tell us more about your use case? For example do you edit directly HTML in Oxygen or are you editing XML and publishing it to XHTML using XSLT stylesheets (that's what we are doing with our web browser). If you are editing XHTML or CSS directly, would you like to see the modifications in the view on the fly (as you type)? Our web designer tests his work in 4-5 major browsers but I guess having an embedded view inside Oxygen would mean that only the final changes would have to be tested with several real-world browsers and the intermediary changes would be tested with the internal browser. As demonstrated in your tutorial videos, debugging web applications usually means a lot of switching back and forth between Oxygen and the browser--I've seen some editors, such as Coda 2 by Panic, integrate a preview panel which can be very handy and efficient. A window built into the IDE with a URL input and refresh button would be sufficient. Webkit is ideal in these scenarios due to its attached web inspector--the panel is easily split between rendering and error console, etc. Thanks.
