With 8.2 Eclipse 3.3 plugin, there is a defect where when I am editing with the edit area maximized, any error pops up the console/problem area, removing focus from the edit area. This is more than a little annoying! Damn near every single keystroke causes this. So for example, simply typing <mytag Will cause this to happen six times, once after each keystroke! Yes, I under stand that < and <m and <my and <myt and <myta and <mytag are each invalid. But I'm still typing. The same applies to attributes of compleated tags. In full size mode, validate should show errors on the edit window, but should not transfer focus to the errors tab.

Hello, Thank you for reporting the bug. It seems to be a bug in the Eclipse 3.3 platform. In previous versions of Eclipse the focus does not go to the Problems view when a marker is added to this view. We will see if we can find a workaround. Regards, Sorin Timothy Reaves wrote:

Hello, To avoid the problem until we find a fix please disable "Validate as you type" in Window -> Preferences -> oXygen -> Editor -> Document Checking and validate your documents manually with the "Validate Document" toolbar button, having the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + V. Thanks for the quick response! Love the product, and love the support.

Hello, We fixed the problem. The new build of the oXygen 8.2 plugin for Eclipse 3.3 available on the Download page (build number 2007072010) includes the fix: http://www.oxygenxml.com/download.html#eclipse3.3_instructions You have to uninstall the previous build before installing this build because the version number is the same.
