A bunch of code templates that I created are missing now. I've been using them for a long time and now they are just gone! Might they be somewhere saved on disk? Where should I go looking for them? Karl..

That varies according to your operating system. So here on OS X there's some data stored in $HOME/Library/Preferences/com.oxygenxml/ and $HOME/Library/Application\ Support/OxygenXMLEditor/ but if you're on Windows the location of the latter varies according to OS version while Linux just uses hidden directories in $HOME for the first of those OS X paths, not sure about the second. In the Preferences folder in OS X there's also some .plist files for ro.sync.exml, but I haven't used oXygenXML on any of my Linux systems yet and I haven't run Windows for my own use since 1999 so I'm not certain where the equivalents for those files would be (or even checked if it would matter). The one place I'm sure it *won't* be is the oXygen installation location since that would mean manually retrieving them every time you upgraded and clearly you haven't done that. Hello Karl, The code templates are saved in either: - Project Options - in your Oxygen project (.xpr) file (check your projects in the Project view combo box) - Global Options - in the options file from the Oxygen preferences directory. Depending on the platform the preferences directory is located as follows: - Windows Vista/7/8/10 - C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\com.oxygenxml - Mac OS X - /Users/<username>/Library/Preferences/com.oxygenxml - Linux - /home/<username>/.com.oxygenxml The options file (for Editor) is named "oxyOptionsSa18.1.xml" (where 18.1 is the version). In Windows if you have trouble locating the AppData folder(it is hidden), open Windows Explorer, type in the Address bar %APPDATA% and press Enter. The options for each new version of Oxygen are imported from the previous version (latest old version found). So you have a set of options (a different options file) for each version of Oxygen. You might also want to check if you have launched a different application, Author or Developer instead of Editor (see Help > About). Each launcher has its own set of options. If you've had them for a long time, you could look at some of the older options files: 1. First export your current options, just in case you'll want them back, Options > Export Global Options, save the file and keep it in a safe place. 2. Try importing an older version options file (e.g. oxyOptionsSa17.0.xml), Options > Import Global Options and look for it in preferences directory (as per your platform) Regards, Adrian Adrian Buza oXygen XML Editor and Author Support Tel: +1-650-352-1250 ext.2020 Fax: +40-251-461482 On 20.12.2016 07:30, Karl Stubsjoen wrote:

So I found them. And I imported them. Not sure why they did not import automatically though. I am running Version 17. Karl.. On Tue, Dec 20, 2016 at 2:18 AM Oxygen XML Editor Support (Adrian Buza) < support@oxygenxml.com> wrote:
