Highlight all matches in Quick Find

Hi, I like the Quick Find feature (Ctrl-Alt-F) that looks like the search feature in FireFox or incremental search in Emacs. But with them, I am used to having all matches in the document highlighted. Is there a way to have that same behaviour in oXygen too? Regards, -- Florent Georges http://www.fgeorges.org/

Hello, That is not available. I logged it as a feature request. Anyway if you select one match and press Ctrl+Shift+F (action Find All) all the matches are listed in a panel at the bottom of the Oxygen window. A click on one match moves the highlight to that match in the editor panel. Regards, Sorin Florent Georges wrote:

Thanks!

Yes, I knew this one, it is indeed useful. But for some kinds of search, when you have little documents and a lot of matches, I find it more intuitive to have all matches highlighted and just scroll the document. This is easier to follow the context than with discrete jumps (as with Ctrl-F, Ctrl-Shift-f or Ctrl-Alt-F.) Thank you for listening, -- Florent Georges http://www.fgeorges.org/
