doesn't work: Configurable Initial Directory of the File Open Dialog
Hello, In Oxygen 8.0, build 2006111719, on Windows XP, I went to the Options / Preferences dialog, and for "File chooser dialog opens in" I selected "Directory of the edited file". I clicked OK. Then I clicked on one of the editor tabs to select an open file. I typed Ctrl+O to open the Open File dialog. Expected result: the open file dialog would open in the directory of the edited file. Actual result: it opened in a completely different directory, possibly that of the last opened file. Postscript: later, having restarted Oxygen, I tried this again, and this time it worked as expected. Maybe you have to restart Oxygen after changing the setting? Lars
Hello, Changing "File chooser dialog opens in" should work after you press OK in the Preferences dialog without any other user action but it works only after you change the current editor once or close the current editor.
