Hi, How can I avoid having the value of a glossary element wrap. The problem is that when the value wraps the glossary cannot find the entry in the database. This is because of the whitespace that is created by line wrap, it think. So I will get messages such as this: There's no entry for Common Object Request Broker Architecture in resources/glossary.xml There's no entry for Remote Method Invocation in resources/glossary.xml There's no entry for Transmission Control Protocol over Internet Protocol in resources/glossary.xml There's no entry for Microsoft Windows Distributed interNet Architecture in resources/glossary.xml There's no entry for Extensible Markup Language in resources/glossary.xml Yet when I check resources/glossary.xml a glossentry does exist. Hi Sean, Try adding the element(s) you want to preserve the formatting for to the Options->Preferences --- Editor/Format/Preserve space elements list. Some alternatives are - put the "sensible" content in a CDATA section. - use xml:space="preserve" on that element(s) (Docbook does not support xml:space although there is a RFE for some time so your document will became invalid but well formedness will not be affected). - use indent selection from the contextual menu (this does just indenting of tags, no content wrapping).
