XProc transformation that opens web browser/PDF viewer

Hello, I have an XProc pipeline that produces a PDF document (the pipeline stores the generated PDF in a file on the file system). Is there a way to create a XProc transformation in oXygen that would, when finished, open a PDF viewer (or a web browser) with the generated file? I can see that for example the DITA-OT transformations do this. Is this behavior available in these transformations, or can I do the same also in my XProc transformations? Thanks, Vojtech -- Vojtech Toman Consultant Software Engineer EMC | Information Intelligence Group vojtech.toman@emc.com http://developer.emc.com/xmltech

Hi Vojtech, The XProc scenario does not provide this option. I registered an issue to add the possibility to open a specified file in the browser at the end of an XProc transformation. Many thanks, George. Have you also considered the possibility of displaying the direct result documents produced by the pipeline? For example, if you had a pipeline that produces XHTML on the output port "foo", it would be nice to be able to view the results without having to modify the pipeline to store the XHTML to an external file. I know that the results of XProc pipelines can be complex (multiple output ports producing sequences of documents), but perhaps there is a simple solution, consistent with how oXygen deals with XSLT/XQuery transformations.
