Re: [oXygen-user] Reference managers for use with Oxygen?

Thank you again Bernhard. While I was hoping for a read-made, fully integrated solution, like Mendeley or Zotero for MS Word, your approach is manageable and I'll give it a try. -da'ud

Zotero's Export Library feature supports several XML formats, including TEI, which i'm using with Oxygen. However as far as i've been able to determine one has to export a whole library. Of course, one can make new libraries in Zotero and delete them, however this is a pain. Such a pain that my co-author and i have simply continued handcoding references for the book we're writing directly in Oxygen. (There's not too much overlap between the references in our book and my personal existing reference library, which is in Bookends, anyway, so there's not much incentive to switch to Zotero for that function.) Am interested to hear about other solutions though, for this and future work. On Wed, Sep 5, 2018 at 2:26 PM Da'ud Vyd <d.vyd@outlook.com> wrote:

Hi, I am an OmniMark programmer and I have successfully developed a big script that part of which reads the surnames in the Bibliographic section, together with their ids. It then looks through the body of the text looking for names and years and inserts the appropriate link. It is in use by three major Publishing houses, so I “think” it works !!!! If you are interested please get in touch to discuss details. Take care Graham Graham Every Limited, The Lodge, Mabel’s Furlong, Ledbury, Herefordshire, HR8 2HG. It seems that most of the points raised in my last mail will be dealt with since I am working together with Jabref developers to add a docbook 5 export to the Jabref 5 developmental version which needs still testing but I have prepared myself the changes from docbook 4 to 5. That means that the Jabref export will almost directly produce a bibliography file to be used with docbook 5. There is a docbook5 export that works flawlessly now. The only point not working is a plus in the bibtexkey that when used for xml:id is faulty because docbook5 does not accept a plus in a xml:id. There should be a general substitution of plus by dot but in jabref5 I could not find it. But all the other items are satisfactorily solved. Bernhard Am 05.09.2018 um 23:28 schrieb Bernhard Kleine:
