Viewing . (dot) directories / files in OS X

How does one go about setting an option in oXygen Editor (Enterprise) to view files/folders whose names start with . (dot)? Bob

Hello, I see in the archive of this mailing list that you asked the same question in October 2009. The answer is the same, please read it in the archive: http://www.oxygenxml.com/pipermail/oxygen-user/2009-October/002817.html Regards, Sorin Beims Bob-RWBC70 wrote:

Sorin; Thanks for the pointer back into the archive. However, it would have saved us both a lot of time if the "press command-shift-period" toggle were described in your help file. I somewhat expected this issue to have been "fixed" in one of the releases since 10.3 (when I originally asked the question), so when I was trying to open a hidden file and couldn't remember how, I popped up your Help, typed the term "hidden files" and found (Windows) screen shots showing the configuration option in Options > Preferences > Global with a note waaaaay at the bottom of the topic saying "This setting is not available on Mac OS X." Why don't you add the note to the text in your help file that says something to the effect of "On OS X, you can display/hide hidden files in Open/Save dialog boxes by pressing command-shift-period."? Hello, You are right, we should mention the Command-Shift-Period shortcut in the User Manual. We will add it to the User Manual in the next version of Oxygen. Please note that this shortcut is more an OS X feature than an Oxygen one. Oxygen does not set that shortcut in the Open dialog or in the Save dialog and does not do something special for enabling it. The User Manual is focused on Oxygen features but it can mention an OS X shortcut that can replace an Oxygen option that is missing on OS X, that is the option "Show hidden files and directories". Best regards, Sorin Beims Bob-RWBC70 wrote:
