Syncro SVN Suggestion: Show/Hide Unversioned Items

Hi, How about adding an option to the Working Copy View to toggle the display of unversioned items, much like those that already exist for Ignored and Deleted items? I realize that unversioned files can be excluded by setting svn:ignore properties, but for projects with lots of individual types in different locations, it can be tedious to set up ignores for each of the various file(type)s & subfolders. This would make it much easier to focus on files under version control. Roger P.S. Will Syncro SVN 4.0 be included in oXygen 9.4, or when can we expect it?

Hello, I agree that it is easier to filter all the unversioned files with a switch than to set the svn:ignore property when the working copy includes many unversioned files that do not fit one or two file name patterns. I filed a feature request to our internal system. Yes, the current version of Syncro SVN Client (version 4.0) will be included in the next version of Oxygen. Regards, Sorin infotexture wrote:

I am sorry, a filter for unversioned files in the working copy is already implemented: go to Options -> Preferences -> SVN and set the file pattern *.* in the option "Application global ignores". Regards, Sorin Sorin Ristache wrote:

Thanks for your reply, Sorin. That approach will filter any unversioned files, but not unversioned subdirectories and is not as easy to toggle as a simple button if you need to show something unversioned to add it. Regards, Roger

Hello, To hide also unversioned subdirectories that do not contain the "." character in the name you have to set the filter * in the option "Application global ignores". We will consider adding a button to the toolbar of the view but we try to keep the user interface as simple as possible which means minimizing the number of buttons. Regards, Sorin infotexture wrote:

Hello Roger, With the filter * set in the option "Application global ignores" you can toggle the unversioned subdirectories and files in the Working Copy view with the toolbar button "Show ignored files". So the requested feature is already implemented -:) but I do not use it often so I was not aware of it. Regards, Sorin Sorin Ristache wrote:

Hi Sorin, Good point, that's a fairly acceptable workaround. Since the Add command is disabled for ignored items, it does require temporarily changing the "Application global ignores" to add any unversioned items, but I suppose that's a fair tradeoff. For this use case, it would be nice if Add were available for ignored items, but I see the logic in disabling it. Thanks again for your suggestions, Roger

Hello, I think the Commit action could be enabled for ignored unversioned files when "Show ignored files" is turned on as it is enabled for unversioned files that do not match the ignore pattern specified in Preferences. We will consider enabling the Commit action in this case. Regards, Sorin infotexture wrote:
