If you add the file to the project then you have access to validation and transformation from the contextual menu (right click on Windows, CTRL+Click on Mac). Maybe using Saxon-SA streaming may help you to get an indented document?

3) Open normal editor : it takes 1,5 Gb and at least 10 minutes to stabilise for 100 Mb files

I checked the performance options to drop undo information on save

Is there anything else I need to know ?
