New Templates Dialog Not Quite Working Right

I have about 7 custom template directories configured. When I pull up the new File->New dialog and navigate down into the Global Templates node, I get lots of blank space in the display and only some of my templates are showing up. Likewise, trying to filter doesn't seem to work. So something is definitely confusing the new template mechanism. However, I think I prefer the old flat list. But then I specifically named all my templates so they would group together in the list, making it quick to find a specific template. Hi Eliot, Have you installed the beta kits which Stefan published on the users list or the older kit I gave you a couple of weeks ago? I'm asking this because we fixed such a problem a couple of weeks ago (multiple template directories breaking the layout of the templates tree). If you are using the latest kits a screenshot would help us reproduce the problem. We'll do some more testing on our side using the latest kits nonetheless. The new layout has a region of recently used file templates so in time all your frequently used file templates should end up there. This is what About tells me: <oXygen/> XML Editor 12.0, build 2010082713 So I think I'm using the latest beta package. Screen shot is attached. Cheers, E. On 8/30/10 12:36 AM, "Radu Coravu" <radu_coravu@sync.ro> wrote:

Hi Eliot, Thanks for the details. Our testers also managed to reproduce the situation (after I sent you the first email). This will be fixed of course in time for the final Oxygen 12.
