Hi Oxygen users & support, I have just finished configuring Oxygen to create customized WebHelp Responsive output to replace Microsoft HTML Help (*.chm). Until recently, I was forced to use CHM files to incorporate legacy help files created from FrameMaker sources (which I have eventually all converted into DITA files). I have presented the result to our development team. They like the result but have requested some changes: * They noticed that the WebHelp output takes up about four times more disk space than the CHM file. This was not immediately seen as a problem, but its practical impact remains to be seen. * They objected to the fact that each language variant of the online help is generated as a self-contained file set in a separate directory. This means that all asset files - such as the context-sensitive help mapping file, logos, JavaScripts and CSS files - and language-agnostic images used in the DITA topics are stored multiple times. They would like all these files to be consolidated into a single directory structure without any redundant files. * They want a button in the header of the help window that allows the user to switch the help system to their desired language. Can Oxygen do this out of the box, or are add-ons or external tools required? Freundliche Grüße | Best regards Frank Dissinger Documentation Manager ..........................................
