Webhelp search: jump to result when opening a found topic?
Hi there, if a user searches our webhelp and finds the one result, say, in a large reference topic, after clicking on that topic it shows the beginning of the file. How could I achieve that the display jumps to the highlighted search word instead? Hi Franz, Thank you for contacting us! Starting with the version 25, a dedicated transformation scenario parameter was implemented for this use-case. More specific, you should use set the value of the "/webhelp.enable.scroll.to.search.term/" HTML fragment extension parameter <https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/25.1/ug-webhelp-responsive/topics/webhelp-responsive-plugin-additional-parameters.html#webhelp-responsive-plugin-additional-parameters__webhelp_enable_scroll_to_search_term> to "/yes/". By default, it is set to "no" and clicking on a search result opens the topic that contains the search term at the top of the topic. If you set it to "true", the page should scroll to the first occurrence of the search term. I hope this helps.
