Hi everybody, For all DITA fans, here are more details about the DITA-specific improvements made in 17.1: 1) The dialog used to insert a topicref (or edit its properties) in the DITA Maps Manager has been totally rebuilt. It now allows you to also specify profiling conditions, to edit topicref metadata or to edit any other attribute on the topicref. So in the DITA Maps Manager this new "Edit Properties" dialog can edit just about any property on a topicref (including defining metadata keywords on it). 2) Dialogs used to insert cross references or web links now allow you to also specify a DITA 1.2 target key. 3) The action "Insert Key Reference" was removed. Instead, the toolbar action "Reuse Content" can do multiple things: 3.1) Insert plain conrefs 3.2) Insert conkeyrefs 3.3) Insert keyrefs to metadata 4) We added support for DITA 1.3 (I'm attaching a topic which shows how to enable it and list of things of what we implemented). 4.1) For DITA Map cross domain publishing, we present the DITA Map referenced with scope="peer" and keyscope set on it with a special colored icon. We also have a tooltip for it + we also gather all keys from this peer map although the reference to it will not be expandable in the DITA Maps Manager. 4.2) We added support for the "Insert Equation" action to insert the proper DITA 1.3 Math ML constructs. Also both referenced MathML and SVG external resources (via <svgref> and <mathref) are properly rendered as images in the Author editing mode. We also installed your MathML and SVG rendering DITA OT plugins in the DITA OT 2.x which is now bundled with Oxygen. 4.3) Same-topic references. If I enabled DITA 1.3 support and I use the usual dialog for inserting crossreferences, if I'm inserting cross references in the same topic I will insert them using the new "#./elementID" syntax. 4.4) Once DITA 1.3 support is enabled, new DITA 1.3 Relax NG based file templates are available. 4.5) Support for key scopes both when validating, inserting, resolving key references and publishing: http://blog.oxygenxml.com/2015/08/dita-13-key-scopes-next-generation-of.html 4.6) Support for inserting, editing and publishing using branch filtering: http://blog.oxygenxml.com/2015/09/dita-13-branch-filtering-next.html 5) The DITA OT 2.x bundled with Oxygen is a very recent custom build so it should also contain some support for support for key scopes and branch filtering. * Convert Hexadecimal Sequence to its Corresponding Unicode Character
I can confirm that this works as expected and, if anything, is faster than the plugin version Dan whipped up a couple of months ago. I believe it may also answer about a dozen ancient and abandoned requests in the forum archives too. ;) Regards, Ben
