how do I associate a framework by xml-model PI?

oXygen folks, I want to associate Wendell Piez’ JATS framework with documents that don’t have a DOCTYPE or a namespace. They rather have an RNG schema associated via an xml-model PI: <?xml-model href="http://hobots.hogrefe.com/schema/hobots.rng" type="application/xml" schematypens="http://relaxng.org/ns/structure/1.0"?> How can I achieve an RNG-based framework association? skip non-xml files when running batch validation

Hi, I’m running a batch validation process on a directory tree that contains a large number of XML files. However the directory also contains other types of files such as .txt and .log files. These files are showing up in the error log as follows: System ID: 9703177.log Main validation file: 9703177.logEngine name: oXygen Severity: warning Description: Cannot check file 9703177.log. Unknown extension. These messages are clogging up my error log. Does anyone know of a way to prevent these messages from appearing in the error log? Thank you, Scott

Should Export DITA Map Rewrite Pointers?

I have a DITA map that is stored in the RSuite CMS, where all the URLs are RSuite REST URLs of the form: <map> ... <topicref href="/rsuite/rest/v2/content/binary/alias/sales-demo-forward-01.dita"/> </map> This URL will resolve relative to the RSuite server URL, meaning that if the URL is resolved relative to the URL of the map opened from an absolute RSuite REST URL that it will always work (RSuite does not provide URLs that are hierarchical like a file system because there is no single or necessary containment relationship among objects in RSuite). Because the URLs just work, I can, for example, open a DITA map using a URL like: http://localhost:8080/rsuite/rest/v2/content/element/alias/sample-pubmap-no- keys.ditamap And Oxygen is happy with it--I can perform all read-only operations against the map, including export DITA map. However, when I tried that, just to see what I would get, I noticed that the structure of the files as packaged reflected the relative paths from the map to the topics, e.g. "element/alias/sales-demo-forward-01.dita" for the map and "binary/alias/sales-demo-forward-01.dita" for the topics. However, the URLs in the result were not rewritten to reflect the directory structure, so the map as exported doesn't work because it still uses the absolute paths. Obviously this is a somewhat artificial case, but it does demonstrate that the map exporter is making an assumption about the data that is not warranted in this case, namely that URLs are relative. My question: - Should the map exporter handle this case and rewrite pointers to reflect the location of the targets in the export location? - Should the exporter detect the use of absolute resource parts and make the output structure reflect those paths? That is, should the exported structure have started with /rsuite rather than "sample-pubmap-no-keys"? Behavior of Open/Find Resource Dialog

I'm finding the open/find resource dialog very handy, but I was surprised that opening it from a selected folder in a project does not limit its search to that folder, which is what I wanted. Is that a reasonable expectation? Also, is there the possibility of regular expression search against filenames? I didn't see an indication of that in the dialog or the online help. Looking for a creative solution for an image report

I'd like to be able to get a list of images (paths + filenames) referenced from the topics within a map including those referenced from within SVGs. So far I've been doing fairly hackish things like using File/Replace in Files with a regular expression of \. And restrict to Xpath: //image[@href] using only attribute values. Then deduping the list and removing garbage but there's got to be a better way to get an accurate list quickly. Any thoughts? (If I replace(base-uri(.),'%20',' ') it finds the file. But I would rather not do this as it doesn't really solve the problem.) What am I doing wrong? If there's a problem I can't fix, is there a workaround you can suggest? I know that one obvious solution is never to use spaces in my subdirectory or file names -- as indeed I do not. Unfortunately, in this instance I cannot convince my client (or rather, my client's client) to renounce this vicious habit. Thanks! Support for "Document Templating Steps for XProc", AKA p:document

Hi, XProc completion in oXygen is apparently about XProc 1.0 [1] with no support for Document Templating Steps [2]. Which is a pity considering that p:template is probably one of the most useful step in XProc. Any chance to get the schema updated in the next version? Feature request: wildcards or regex in directory filter

I don't know how feasible this is, but a feature that I have never seen in any editor is the ability to use a wildcard or regex in the directory path filter for functions such as search/replace and open files. Imagine in the "Find/Replace in Files->Specified Path" if I could specify something like: C:\dita\*\products\testproduct\user Where my directory structure contained a list of country codes where the * would go. I've been writing scripts to accommodate these kind of actions. The same functionality would be useful for opening files also. I often want to open a map and all of the translations of that map across many directories. C:\dita\*\products\testproduct\user\testmap.ditamap I'm curious how difficult something like that would be. Print/save report from Diff Directories?

Is there any way to print or save the output of a Diff Directories listing? I have a use case where it would be very helpful to do so, but I do not see any menu or contextual options with this function. Git-aware XML Diff Support?

I've started using Git for version control wherever possible. Looking at the help, it looks like there is support for SVN version diffing, but nothing for Git. Have you considered providing at least Git-aware differencing, if not a full Git client analogous to the SVN client?
