MarkLogic 7 support

I know that 15.2 supports MarkLogic 7, but I'm having a hard time getting the connection to work. I'm on a Mac, using the latest 15.2 version of oxygen, with a developer instance of MarkLogic running on my localhost. I've set up a data source of type MarkLogic, with the driver pointing to marklogic-xcc-7.0.2.jar. Then my connection is setup with XDBC Host: localhost Port: 8002 User: admin Password: <mypassword> Database: [default] WebDAV URL: http://localhost:8003 When I click Select next to the Database field, I get an error popup: "Malformed Response: background:rgb(102.102,98); If I save it, I see the connection and two nodes - Groups and WebDAV. Under Groups I see "com.marklogic.xcc.exceptions.ServerConnectionException: Malformed Response: }" What have I done wrong? -- Steve

Mis-indenting documentation in XProc

Hi, If I get the simple XProc library below, put the carret in the "p" element, and press "Cmd-Shift-I", I get the same indentation. See the first line? It is cut way too early. If I use "Cmd-Shift-P", it gets indented properly. <p:library xmlns:p="http://www.w3.org/ns/xproc" version="1.0"> <p:declare-step type="foobar"> <p:documentation xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Suspendisse nec venenatis odio. Phasellus ut erat augue. Ut dictum condimentum lorem ultrices consectetur. Fusce pharetra pulvinar porttitor.</p> </p:documentation> </p:declare-step> </p:library> Not sure whether this is a bug, or if it is a mis-configuration on my end. It seems to happen only for XProc. No Easy Way to Set @colsep and @rowsep on Table in Author Mode

I'm trying to track down a rendering bug in complex tables and thus doing more table editing than I normally do. Just realized I can set @colsep and @rowsep on <table> to turn all the rules on in the table but there doesn't appear to be an easy way to do this from the table editor in Author mode. I would expect check boxes on the initial table creation dialog for "all column rules" and "all row rules" or something similar. Have I missed something in the UI or is there a considered reason for not providing this option? I wish this was Facebook because I would hit 'like'. This feature is awesome! If you work on multiple projects or multiple XML vocabularies, the project feature is must! Project Switching Is Cool

I just wanted to mention how valuable the ability to quickly switch projects is. I find myself constantly switching between projects, often over the course of minutes as I bounce between tasks, conversations, etc. Being able to quickly switch between projects with all the project state remembered and restored is really valuable. XProc validation bug

Hi, Are you sure editor variables are being expanded in Oxygen 15.2? I used the $framework editor variable in the ant path and I get the following in the console output: "*${frameworkDir}*/../../../../tools/jdk/bin/java" -Xmx256m -classpath " *${frameworkDir}*/../../../../tools/ant/apache-ant-1.7.1/lib/ant-launcher.jar" "-Dant.home=$*{frameworkDir}*/../../../../tools/ant/apache-ant-1.7.1" org.apache.tools.ant.launch.Launcher -f "C:/dev/doc/shared/Oxygen/dita/../../../main/core/build/build.xml" doc.syncall_nowebdev conditionally_build_doc "-Dwebhelp.trial.license=no" -Dsfdc.build.types=PDF As you can see above, the ${frameworkDir} does not seem to have expanded. I used the entire path and it works fine. I verified that the path is correct for the ant jar above. Am I doing anything wrong here? Thanks a bunch, Nathan

Hi, I was wondering if it be possible to avoid showing an element when the auto-suggest suggests an element for insertion at a particular location. I am planning this to avoid usage of a few elements like "unknown" etc. I understand that I can use CSS to hide elements in the Author view, but I would not like to show these elements in the element auto suggest even if it is valid. Feature Request: Variables for Path Components When Building Result Locations in Scenarios

I find myself doing a lot of scenarios where I'm generating new copies of existing files or transforming files from one schema to another. In that case, I often need to output the files into a directory structure that reflects the input file's structure, e.g., the same parent and grandparent but under a different greatgrandparent. I haven't seen a way to do this statically in setting up the output location in a transformation scenario. I can get the input file's path, it's name, and so on, but not just it's parent's or grandparent's folder name. I'm thinking that what I'd really like is the ability to get any component of the input file's path so that I can then construct the result path, something like: ../../../newdir/${parent:3}/${parent:2}/${parent:1}/$cfn-newbit.xml Where the tokens are addressed from nearest (parent) to farthest, as for the ancestor:: axis. If I had that I could have single transform scenarios I could apply to large sets of files in different structures and get the required result without having to rejigger the transform scenario for each different output location.
