Ant syntax highlighting?

Hi, I'd very much like to tweak Oxygen's Ant syntax highlighting - specifically, I'd like to be able to highlight variables in attribute values, which are currently displayed as red text from start to finish. It seems like this ought to be relatively easy to specify (i.e. anything between "${" and "}" is styled differently), but is this possible with the framework functionality, or in any other way at all? Thanks!

Line breaks in DITA source

Hey Guys, How does Oxygen decide where to add line breaks in the source? I've got a strange situation where I'll have some content like: (Note the literal space between and <tm) Stenotrophomonas maltophilia <tm tmtype="tm"><tm tmtype="reg" translate="no">ATCC</tm> 17666</tm> Oxygen often formats it like: (Note the lack of a space after ) Stenotrophomonas maltophilia <tab><tab><tab><tab><tm tmtype="tm"><tm tmtype="reg" translate="no">ATCC</tm> 17666</tm> So far so good. Rendering this to PDF produces a space between the and <tm. However, when we send these files to our translation vendor (they're using Trados), the content comes back as: (Note lack of space) Stenotrophomonas maltophilia<tm tmtype="tm"><tm tmtype="reg" translate="no">ATCC</tm> 17666</tm> One solution (and maybe the best one!) would be for the translation vendor to preserve whitespace. However, I was curious if there was a way to set rules that define how Oxygen saves the file. If so, another thing I'd probably do is never break a tag across lines. I see this fairly often too. Which 99.99% of the time is no problem, but we've run into some issues due to complexity we've introduced. <uicontrol >Test</uicontrol> Thanks! Preventing oXygen XML Author to start a new "instance"

Hi group When I have oXygen XML Author open and double-click an xml file in Windows Explorer, a new "instance" of oXygen XML Author is started in which this file is opened. Configuring OT's FOP To Render MathML

Using Oxygen 15.1 with the 1.6.3 OT with FOP 1.1 manually installed into the pdf2 plugin, and given DITA docs with MathML and a plugin that outputs the MathML as markup within fo:instream-foreign-object elements, if I run the OT PDF transform from within Oxygen, then FOP renders the MathML nicely. I noticed that Oxygen includes the jeuclid-core and jeuclid-fop jars and I tried copying those into the pdf2/fop/lib dir. If I run the normal Toolkit process without the Oxygen-defined -lib options (meaning it’s using the class path defined by the startCmd.sh) then FOP complains about the MathML markup as being unrecognized, even with the JEuclid libraries present (which suggests that the Toolkit’s Ant process is not automatically loading the libraries). Likewise, if I run the fop shell agains the FO file I get the same MathML complaints. I verified that both the Oxygen-supplied FOP jar and the one in my OT are 1.1, e.g.: contrext01:fop ekimber$ java -jar /Applications/oxygen/lib/fop.jar -v FOP Version 1.1 contrext01:fop ekimber$ java -jar build/fop.jar -v FOP Version 1.1 So I’m at a bit of a loss as to how Oxygen is getting the result I want and what I need to do to get that same result outside of Oxygen. Forms controls in tables

Hi, So, I have a case where an element's contents are validated to an enumerated list of strings in RelaxNG. In a CSS, I have a form control that populates a pull down list of the values from the schema. This works well: account { -oxy-editable: true; content: oxy_textfield( edit, "#text", columns, 30, values ); visibility: -oxy-collapse-text; } However, when I set this element to display as a table cell in a table, I get extra vertical whitespace below it. When I remove the 'visibility' property, it displays as I expect (each table row flush with the next). But of course then I see the contents twice, once with the pull-down control, and once as normal contents. Any hints? Additional Java operations for Oxygen XML frameworks available on github

Dear Oxygen XML users, On https://github.com/telota/ediarum/tree/master/oxygen_java you can now download ediarum.jar - a package of currently nine Java operations which extends the out-of-the-box Java operations for actions in Oxygen XML frameworks - especially with operations for working with a central index XML file in a database. If you would like to only use these functions you just have to download the file ediarum.jar (https://github.com/telota/ediarum/raw/master/oxygen_java/ediarum.jar) and store it into your framework. Then you have to reference this JAR file in your Oxygen framework definition in the tab "Classpath". The files are available for download under the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public Licence (LGPL). If you're trying to achieve image display in Author mode you can use oXygen's CSS extensions modify the location of the image file. This is working for me. All images are stored in a folder named "graphic" that is relative to the location of the XML file. References to image files use a graphic element that contains the file name in an xlink:href attribute, for example: <graphic xlink:href="image.tif"/> Then in Author mode CSS I've defined how the graphic element should be displayed and where to locate the file, for example: graphic { content: oxy_url(oxy_parent-url(attr(xlink|href, url)),"graphic/",attr(xlink|href)); vertical-align: middle } This example is not DITA. You might need to change the element and attribute names to something like this: image { content: oxy_url(oxy_parent-url(attr(href, url)),"graphic/",attr(href)); vertical-align: middle } and change the folder path for your system. My first thought would be to use an XML catalog to map the current URLs to the correct ones. As a matter of principle, I always prefer to refer to external resources with a full URL, including domain name, then use a catalog to map the URL to a local path. That way if one set of resources is moved relative to another, all I have to do to restore the connection is to update the catalog. Hi, I am currently moving from Arbortext to Oxygen and I have a bunch of DITA XMLs which have a fixed path for img src attributes (Arbortext allows one to set such folder locations in the preferences for inline display). These paths are not valid (what can I say, I used Arbortext ;-)) and I am trying to move away from this practice by converting it in to relative paths. In the meantime, is there any thing I can do to make this valid. I have looked at some options including: - Change path using the ChangeAttribute Author default operation (Question, is there any the operation can be triggered on document open in OxygenXML Author). - Using the Java API (Again, any way this trigger this on document open) Is there a better way to do this?
