7.2 on MacBook Pro

I downloaded 7.2 onto my new intel-based MacBook Pro but when launching the application it quits before anything appears on the screen. The console says the following: [JavaAppLauncher] application launched with ppc-thin application stub. Using native application stub instead. [LaunchRunner Error] The main class "ro.sync.exml.Oxygen" could not be found. [JavaAppLauncher Error] CallStaticVoidMethod() threw an exception Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException at apple.launcher.LaunchRunner.run(LaunchRunner.java:85) at apple.launcher.LaunchRunner.callMain(LaunchRunner.java:50) at apple.launcher.JavaApplicationLauncher.launch(JavaApplicationLauncher.java:52) Any ideas? - I rather like the idea of getting to grips with the new SVN functionality. Fortunately 7.1 still seems to work OK. Steve

Newbie question on XSLT - how to generate table columns dynamically

Hi, I am new to XSLT and have a question on how to dynamically generate columns in XSL style sheet that can be applied generic xml files that has the same document structure but with different number of columns and column names. The XML file is shown below. In this case, the number of columns is 3 and column names are the elements' name (e.g., COUNTRY_ID, COUNTRY_NAME and REGION_ID. MarkLogic XQuery validation

Dear SyncRO Soft, I configured Oxygen to validate XQuery with MarkLogic Server; however, I get "Validation support not available" -- problem duplicated on colleague's workstation. Details: 7.2 on 10.4.6 with Java 5 Very welcome feature, can't wait to use it. MarkLogic as a datasource for XQuery transformations seems to work great, so thanks! Hi, If you downloaded and installed the kit for linux(.sh file) then you should already have the corresponding shortcuts(.desktop files) in the oxygen install dir. You just have to copy them to your desktop and they should work. The file you are looking for is Oxygen XML Editor.desktop. Dear All, I'm currently using Oxygen 7.2 under Linux specifically, Ubuntu 6.06. Unfortunately I can't create a menu item, or a launcher on the desktop, that will start Oxygen correctly. For those unfamiliar with Ubuntu it uses Gnome as window manager by default. I can create the menu item, or launcher, and can confirm all of the paths are correct. Oxygen appears to start, I can see a process start and HDD activity, however no window is displayed and the process quickly stops. If I launch oxygen via a terminal window, inside gnome, everything works as expected. Does anyone have any thoughts? Validating multi-file XSL transformations with

I've just started playing with oXygen as an XML plug-in for Eclipse. So far, it seems great; however, I've got a large set of XSL stylesheets I'd like to work on, and unfortunately the built-in validation says that they're invalid. They do currently work, using Xalan as the XSL-processing engine, so I'm reluctant to change the structure radically. In a nutshell, here's what's happening; this is obviously a huge simplification, and in the real project I get a *zillion* similar warnings: ----- Main file ----- <xsl:transform> <xsl:include href="include/file1.xsl"/> <xsl:include href="include/file2.xsl"/> </xsl:transform> ----- End main file ----- ----- include/file1.xsl ----- <xsl:transform> <xsl:variable name="foo">abc</xsl:variable> </xsl:transform> ----- End of file1.xsl ----- ----- include/file2.xsl ----- <xsl:transform> <xsl:template match="root"> <root foo="{$foo}"/> </xsl:template> </xsl:transform> ----- End of file2.xsl ----- This successfully transforms the tiny document "<root/>" into "<root foo='abc'/>"; however, when I open include/file2.xsl in oXygen, I always get a warning that variable "foo" has not been initialised. [oXygen-user] Problem making new, or editing Transformation Scenario

Using the new 7.2 release Eclipse plugin, I have a problem adding new, or editing a Transformation Scenario. Either from the XML menu, or from the button bar, whether I click New, or select and click Edit, no dialog appears to edit the scenario. I also have the standalone version installed, and the problem does not happen there. I guess that implies that the problem may be in my Eclipse setup (although all was fine before I upgraded to 7.2), so, in case it's useful: Platform: Windows XP Eclipse: 3.1.0 Java: Sun 1.5.0 Thanks Nigel Harrison

[SVNClient] context icons in the browser

Any plans to add context icons, so that you can visually see the state of files? Two of my files display a question mark on the icon; not sure what that means. But a visual indicator as to state would be great.

It's fairly normal to hide files that have been ignored. Can you either add this, or add an option? Thanks!
