oxygen in maven2 subprojects (using maven2 eclipse plugin)

Hi there, I found a problem/bug: If I have a project having sub projects - (as I have in form of a Maven2-Project holding some sub-projects) and I want to debug a xsl stylesheet in such a sub project, the debugger doesn't stop at marked breakpoints. A breakpoint which I have set in the xsl can't be removed. If I try to step into the xsl transformation, Internet Explorer pops up and shows me the xml input. Eclipse shows me an empty editor screen telling me that the file I'm currently debugging doesn't exist. Strange, not? Kind regards, Kai

Strange behaviours since 8.2

Hello list, I use oxygenxml since a long time now, and since the 8.2 I have a strange behaviours with SVN Client. When I launch it as a tool, form oXygenXML my working directories are not available, the list is empty. Each time I re make the list it disappears the next time I launch oXygenXML. But I i launch SVNClient as a standalone tool, my other working directories are available. I know that the preference file is not the same for the two launch method. What is the preference file for the oxygenxml tools launch ? May be it's a unix right problem on my computer. Displaying quotes

Hello, I have XML-files with "-quotes in the content of elements. If I open such a file, Oxygen always displays them as HTML-codes &quote; Is it possible to change that behavior, so that the original " are shown? Thanks. XSLT and id() function

trying to sort something out... XSLT (through XPath, I guess (http://www.w3.org/TR/xpath#function-id) has an id() function that, if I understand the docs correctly, will return the node (or nodeset, if the parameter is a nodeset of id strings) from the document that has the given id value. Great! Now, one problem. For that to work, apparently the id value needs to be declared as an attribute of ID type in a DTD. Bummer. See note in http://www.w3.org/TR/xslt#section-Embedding-Stylesheets. Ok, so I tried that, but Oxygen doesn't seem to find it. Does Oxygen (and/or XSLT in general, to your knowledge) support the id() function in XSLT? Can it work with an ID-typed element? My problem is that I am presented with an XML document that makes heavy use of IDREF type elements and I'm trying to transform them in XSLT. Perhaps there's a better way or I'm doing something wrong. Will post to xml dev list if this comes back negative. attached are my (hackish! just trying stuff out) xml, xsd, and xsl files I've been using to test. Note that in the xsl <xsl:variable name="onode" select="id(oid)"/> ids:<xsl:value-of select="$onode"/> "onode" is null (well, empty nodeset.) Thanks, Linus

debugging a java extension?

Hi! I try to debug a stylesheed transformation using Saxon 6.5.5. I wrote a small java extension class as transformation helper. I now receive a Nullpointer from within (it's still in development). Is there a possibility to debug the java class while stepping through the XSLT Debugger? Kind regards, Kai

Hello, I'm connecting oXygen to the eXist database via "Options / Data Sources". Works perfect. But just one question: Which protocol exactly oXygen uses for accessing eXist? Is it WebDAV? Or XMLRPC? shortcuts for special characters

Hello List, I've been using oXygen for a couple of years but mainly for text encoding, I don't really take advantage of the more advanced functionality. I apologize for this newbie question and I hope the answer is simple. I would really like to create shortcuts for some characters from the character map. There are three that I use often and it's a pain to have to cut and paste or use the character map every time I want to stick one in. I figured out how to set the menu shortcut keys and I was able to create a shortcut to bring up the c.m. but what I really want are shortcuts to insert the letters themselves. Any suggestions? pasting javascript

Hi, Great job on the new release! I was wondering/hoping there is a feature in oXygen that allows me to keep using the format on paste for XML, but have a way to turn it off for pasting something like javascript, velocity or similar script. I have tried putting the elements in the preferences for the 'Preserve Space', but whenever I paste the script loses its formatting and lines up at the first tab stop. For example create a new XHTML doc from the templates. Add a script element and paste the following: if (true) { alert('boo'); } Any way to set this up? best, -Rob
