Hello, We are happy to announce that version 3.0.0 of our Oxygen Batch Documents Converter add-on is now available in the Oxygen XML default add-on repository! The add-on is free and is compatible with any Oxygen XML Editor/Author/Developer version 20.0 and newer. Version 3.0.0 of the Oxygen Batch Documents Converter add-on comes with these useful new improvements: * Two new conversions were added: YAML to JSON and JSON to YAML. * Import actions are now available from the Append child, Insert Before, and Insert After sub-menus from the DITA Maps Manager's contextual menu. They convert documents and automatically insert them into the DITA map. * Converter actions were included in the File->Import/Convert->Additional conversions sub-menu. * The converter actions have been re-organized for easier access. To install the add-on, follow these instructions: 1. Go to Help->Install new add-ons to open an add-on selection dialog box. 2. Select "-- All Available Sites --" in the Show add-ons from field. 3. Select the Batch Documents Converter add-on and click Next. 4. Read the end-user license agreement. Then select the “I accept all terms of the end-user license agreement” option and click Finish. 5. Restart the application. Custom XML Calabash in oXygen

Hi, I want to convert XProc Pipelines in oXygen with a custom XML Calabash (https://github.com/transpect/calabash-frontend) Therefore, I followed Adrian's instructions which he made on this list some years ago: https://www.oxygenxml.com/pipermail/oxygen-user/2013-March/004558.html However, I ran into a couple of problems: (1) I can run a simple XProc pipeline, but when I want to use an XProc extension step in my pipeline, Calabash aborts and states that there is no class in my configuration for the extension step. However, I've added this to my engine.xml: <library name="extensions/transpect/unzip-extension/io/transpect/calabash/extensions/UnZip.class"/> And I have this in my calabash.config file. The paths are correct. <implementation type="letex:unzip tr-internal:unzip" class-name="io.transpect.calabash.extensions.UnZip"/> (2) I was not able to add a custom XML catalog to the configuration. I've tried to add this to the engine.xml, but it doesn't worked: <system-property name="Dxml.catalog.staticCatalog" value="1"/> <system-property name="Dxml.catalog.files" value="xmlcatalog/catalog.xml"/> Has anyone integrated it's own Calabash or has any suggestions? Why is "Go to definition" so slow?

Hi Folks, In XML Schema documents I can select a type, right-mouse-click, select "Go to definition", and then Oxygen will take me to the type definition. This is a great feature. However, in recent versions of Oxygen, it has gotten really slow. For example, I have a schema file that is 604 lines (i.e., a small schema). I selected a type, right-mouse-clicked, and selected "Go to definition". It took 20 seconds for Oxygen to find the type. Why does it take so long? I remember in previous editions of Oxygen it would take less than 2 seconds. /Roger

We have to search and replace high-bit characters sometimes. Hi Folks, I have a large XHTML file. Apparently, somewhere in the file is an invalid Unicode character because when I drag-and-drop the file into Oxygen I get the error message: Cannot open the specified file: Got a character encoding exception. File encoding (UTF-8) does not support all characters from the current file. The problem is this: Where is the invalid UTF-8 character? Is there a way to get Oxygen to tell me where -- what character position -- it detected the invalid Unicode character? /Roger
