Possible to Configure Author to Edit Attributes In Main Page?

I've been playing around with setting up a CSS for editing XML entity catalogs. I can of course display all the attribute values but changing them requires using the attribute editor, which is a bit unnatural in this case, since all the important info is in attributes. I'm wondering if it's possible or if it could be possible to configure Author through CSS to allow editing of specific attribute values in the editing page? Both global- and project-level scenarii

Hi, I work on several projects within oXygen, all using the project level preferences. But I have several scenarii that I use for all projects (XSLStyle, XSpec, etc.) Is there any way to add scenarii at the global level, without impacting current project, and being usable in all projects? If I select "global scenarios" in the "configure transformation scenarios" action, I get the following warning: The scenarios will be cleared from the <oXygen/> project file when you save the project. More memory on Mac OS X

Hi there, I tried to open some large XML files in Oxygen and it gives me the error that I have to give'm more memory (error message in german): ---------- Bitte starten Sie neu, nachdem Sie mehr Speicher alloziiert für oxygen. Dafür den Parameter -Xmx im Startskript ändern, beispielsweise -Xmx700m. Falls Sie ein Diff Tool ausgeführt haben als das Problem auftrat, können Sie das nächste mal versuchen einen anderen Algorithmus zu verwenden. Weitere Details im Benutzerhandbuch unter 'Performance problems' und 'Setting a parameter in the startup script'. ---------- But when I go to the "Oxygen" folder in "Applications" on Mac OS X, I can't identify the script where I have to do this changes? Per-Doctype Editor View Association?

Is it possible to have the editor view assocation on a per-editor basis? For example, I want to use Author for most XML, but some docs, such as XML catalogs, are more effectively edited in the grid view. Dates: Monday 20 July - Friday 24 July Venue: Oxford University Computing Services Full information and online booking: http://www.oucs.ox.ac.uk/rts/events/2009-07/ This five-day course combines in-depth coverage of the latest version of the Text Encoding Initiative (TEI) Guidelines for the encoding of digital text with hands-on practical exercises (using oXygen) in their application. If you are a project manager, research assistant, or encoder working on any kind of project concerned with the creation or management of digital text, this course is for you. You should be generally computer literate (web, email, word-processors) for this course. You may already be broadly familiar with the idea of textual editing, perhaps (but not necessarily) with some experience of producing HTML web pages, or of traditional scholarly editing. You should be enthusiastic about the possibilities offered by digital technologies and keen to learn more. You should be prepared to get your hands dirty at the keyboard and you should not be afraid of a little technical jargon. How to associate file relative to project with transformation scenario

Hi, I want to distribute set of sample XML files and XSLT transformations. I can create project and if I create per-project transformation scenarios those scenarios are saved to project file. But I also want to maintain association between files and transformation scenarios that should be applied on them. However oXygen stores such association against absolute URL of file which doesn't work when project and all files are moved to different computer into different folder. I have tried to modify project file manually to use relative paths and variables like ${pdu}, but oXygen was not able to recognize association then. Is it possible to achieve this in oXygen 10.2? Way to Use Input Filename to Construct Result Filename in Tranformation Scenarios?

I didn't see an obvious way to do what I want in the Tranformation Scenario dialog. What I would like to do is use the filename part of the input file for a transformation scenario to construct the result filename, e.g., a new file with the same name in a different directory or a new file that uses the input name as part of its name, etc. This is in the context of a scenario defined for an XSLT file, that is, I'm editing the transform and run the scenario from that file, associating it with different input files. It appeared that the "current filename" variable resolved to the name of the transformation file (the XSLT). Is there a way to do what I want or do I have to define the scenario from the viewpoint of the input file? Keyboarding accented characters?

Please forgive me and point me in the right direction if this is available in a FAQ, but I have not found exactly this problem: With Oxygen 10.1 under Ubuntu 8.10 and a Norwegian Windows keyboard I have problems with characters that need the AltGr-combination. (And with some other keyboard-related setups, for instance I have a keyboard setup for Greek which works fine in all other programs than Oxygen) the top-right key on my keyboard is supposed to give accent-grave when i click this key first and then a character key for which there is an accent-grave combination. If I hold down the AltGr-key, click on this before mentioned key and then a character key for which *this* is meaningful, I get an acute accented character. But in Oxygen neither of these combinations work. On this same keyboard I am supposed to hold down AltGr and type "2" to get the "@". this also doesn't work in Oxygen, I just get the "2". It seems as if all the combination keys are non-functioning when I am typing in text in Oxygen. Are there any settings where I can turn on ordinary keyboard behaviour? Best regards, Espen S. Ore
